1) What is the make and model of the Bluetooth dongle? 2) As you said that you have “ tried the scan”, can you please tell me which scan you have tried? 3) Were there any recent changes to your system such as installing new hardware, software and/or Windows updates?

4) Can you please tell me how you’re trying to install the Bluetooth dongle? Is it through online or from any media? 5) Are you getting this error specifically when you are trying to install Bluetooth Dongle? 6) What is the make and model of his computer? I have performed a clean boot and that did not fix the problem. I have installed and uninstalled the software for the Bluetooth several times and also restored my system to time before I tried to install the device. The device is a generic Nexxtech Bluetooth 4.0 usb micro adapter the software is CSR Harmony I have an Acer laptop running a 64 bit processor with Windows 8.1 The error I get when trying to install the device is Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library error R6034 Once again, I am not technically savvy and would like some clear and simple instructions on how to fix this problem.
