Yamaha Studio Lord Serial Numbers
I have recently bought (from ebay) a Yamaha Studio Lord SL1000 Guitar which is basically a copy of a Gibson Les Paul Custom made in the 70s or 80s. I want to try and find out a little more about it (including trying to date it from the serial number - the serial wizard on Yamaha's site is no good) but can find absolutely no information on them on Google or anywhere else for that matter. I can find mention of the lesser Studio Lord models but nothing on the SL1000. How can I find specifications for this guitar and how can I date it accurately.
